It is not my intention to be a mineral dealer, per se. I am not going to mineral shows, buying flats of minerals, and reselling the specimens like most other dealers. Rather, I will offer specimens I collect myself from the mines and other localities that I review in the journal. Rarely will such specimens be "museum" quality, though sometimes good-quality specimens can be available. The intent is to provide, at the very least, representative specimens one can expect to find at the locales; at best, will be of high enough quality for addition to a display collection; and others will serve well as reference material for testing and teaching/learning aids. As time progresses, I will also offer high-quality prints and a guidebook of minerals that only form microscopic crystals, which will assist collectors in identifying specimens that are otherwise difficult to ascertain. Also, look for ancillary products that are naturally compatible with the scope of the journal, such as camping gear, prospecting equipment, survival food, hiking guidebooks, and such. I'm looking forward to having a lot of fun with this section in the near future!
Specimens are often available in a variety of sizes, though this is not always the case for all minerals found at any particular site. Price ranges for the various sizes are approximate, vary according to rarity, and negotiable! Please use the Contact page for inquiries.
